Mohammad Abdullah, legal advisor to Tolo TV, and also one of the people violently arrested on 17 April 2007, speaks at a journalists' rally against the actions of the Attorney-General, Abdul Jabar Sabet.
At about 7pm on 17 April 2007, Police from the 10th District Police Station raided the offices of Tolo TV, assaulting Tolo TV staff and detaining 3 staff before public pressure caused the staff members to be released within the hour. The Attorney-General of Afghanistan, Abdul Jabar Sabet, ordered the arrest of a Tolo TV staff member after he claimed that he was misquoted in a press conference.

Mohammad Abdullah, legal advisor to Tolo TV, was arrested under orders from the Attorney-General’s office at about 7pm on 17 April 2007 from the front of Tolo TV's premises. He, together with two other staff members of Tolo TV, were released at about 8pm on the same night after public pressure.
