History of Tolo TV

‘Tolo’ means sunrise or dawn in Dari and Pashto, and symbolises the beginning of a new era for Afghans.

Tolo TV was launched in October 2004, becoming one of the first commercial television stations to operate in Afghanistan and laying the foundations for an accessible media outlet offering local and international news, sports, a current affair, movies, comedy, serials, documentaries, music, children’s programming, lifestyle and entertainment shows. Tolo TV was first launched in Kabul but as at November 2007, has broadcasts in 14 cities in Afghanistan on free-to-air and throughout the region by satellite.

Tolo TV intends to excite, engage and motivate Afghans through dynamic programming which is reflective of the population’s needs and wants.

After years of war, oppression and destruction, the Afghans are ready to move on. Tolo aims to assist this effort by providing content which will educate, Inform, entertain and inspire all Afghans.

با سلام مدتی است که یکی از تبلیغات پوشک بچه از این تلوزیون با نام اوی بیبی پخش میشود که من فکر میکنم با ارزش های دینی ما مطابقت ندارد لطفا درباره انتقاد من فکر کنید . با تشکر

تلویزیون طلع آواز ندارد

سلام! از مدت یکماه بدینسو تلویزیون طلوع هر دوسه روز برای 24 ساعت آوازش قطع می شود. امروز 31 اکتبر که دور چهرم ستاره افغان شروع می شود، بازهم طلوع بدون آواز است. خواهشمندیم هرچه زودتر در رفع دایمی این نقیصه بکوشید.

سلام به دوستان و همکاران تلویزیون طلوع!
من ساکن دنمارک هستم و پس از تلاش فراوان توانستم فرکونسی شمارا بیابم و از برنامه های جالب شما مستفید گردم. اما گاه کاهی و همین لحظه تاریخ 7 سپتمبر 2008 ساعت 20:54 آواز کاملا خاموش است و تقریبا 5 ساعت شده که این معضله وجود دارد. البته از طریق انترنیت نیز وضع برهمین منوال است. امید میرود که تخنیکران طلوع متوجه این موضوع باشند.
