when the country’s greatest ever talent show was launched. The show
has since captured the hearts of Afghans by providing homegrown
entertainment and a chance to engage all Afghans through its
multiple voting platforms. It inspired a documentary with the same name,
co-produced by Kaboora Production (the producers of
“Afghan Star”), which went on to win two awards at the 2009 Sundance
Film Festival.
“Afghan Star” will premiere on TOLO TV on Friday November 4th at 9pm.
