'Raz Ha ye Een Khana', or 'The Secrets of this House', is a serial created by Aria Production exclusively for Tolo TV, which is totally made in Afghanistan by Afghans, from the script, to the direction (Roya Sadaat), to the filming and editing.

 The serial has already become very popular even though it has only been airing since the end of October 2007.

'Raz Ha' is directed by the world acclaimed director, Roya Sadaat, who has also been involved with a number of international projects. She has been directing the serial since the inception of the project.

The conceptual framework for the serial was first created by Atiq Rahimi, winner of many international prizes for his books and film, Earth and Ashes, and Hafiz Assefi, who was assistant to Peter Brook for a number of years in Paris, France. Since the inception of the project, a team of young Afghan script writers has been responsible for all episodes of the serial. These young Afghan men and women have and they have been trained by renowned script writer Jonathan Lawton (Pretty Woman).

The filming and editing of the serial is undertaken by Aria Production in Kabul, Afghanistan. 

The story of 'Raz Ha' is based on an extended Afghan family based in Kabul. The story centres around a house, the original owner of which left Afghanistan for overseas at the start of the Afghan wars, and the house was left to his cousins thereafter. The cousins then transferred the house to their name during the war.  The original owner has now returned to Afghanistan to reclaim his house although his cousins are claiming rights to the house because without their presence the house would have been lost to the government or others.

Accordingly, various people want to secure ownership of the house. The original owner starts to use political contacts to claim back ownership of the house, and the cousins use pay offs and other methods to stake their claim on the house. In the course of this struggle for the house, love blossoms between younger members of the two sides of the family.

'Raz Ha' reflects all of the social, familial and political highs and lows of contemporary Afghan society.
