2. the people of Afghanistan is corrupt ? is that so? well it seems like we have bugs in our system. the helpless war torn afghanistan was attacked and disturbed by neighboring countries. and here they come they spit up in the air but forget their Silvia is landing on themselves if the leader's of afghanistan are thinking that their citizens are corrupt than that can also be possible it's like a father being worried about their injured child. 3. we afghans are the heroes who really don't need your advise about what (iman) is ... i appreciate your step to come forward and say a word but right or wrong? we respect all other nations but (ISLAM) is a complete religion and i hereby request you not to add anything about our iman. because you are hindu according to islam we can't add anything new beside islam. like you poeple are hindu you worship something made by man so we can also not tolerate your buddhist idea.
4. i know what's IMAN but Islam is so clean and unique that religion so i tell you say ''LA ILAHA ILALLAH MOHAMAD'N RASUL ALLAH'' and let's shake hands...and forget about your soup opera

Salaam to all,
Dear readers of the comments.
It’s a privilege to come to this site and comment on the matter which is very important.
Everyone have their own point of views so with due regards i would like to state that the (Indian dramas) on afghan TV are totally inappropriate for the afghan people at this stage, The contentious Indian programs must be stopped because it's being broadcast from and to Muslim community and in the heart of Muslim people this disturbing TV serials are guiding to darkness of Buddhists.
Our afghan community does not need Hindu's way of living being broadcast or taught on TV to our next generation.
the afghan needs are educated based programs rather than dancing, clubbing, kidnapping, pagan, useless Indian way of living which is totally different people and totally unacceptable in afghan environment.
I am not living in Afghanistan but I do follow the TV programs and I notice a failure in some of their hardworking broadcasts; failure in the sense coping what Indians do.
Coping and trying to be what a Buddhist nation is so let’s being ourselves. Lot’s of afghan TV channels are coping from India now the point is not opposing India, India seems to be friendly to Afghanistan but here we are talking about (the afghan need) (the afghan value) (the afghan tradition)
* We must not teach our children s (Girls) how to run away or have affair with someone.......as we see in Indian programs.
* we must not build the structure of our people's and children s mind with how to kidnap, kill, be jealous, steal the right of our friends as we see in Indian programs.
* We must be ourselves. We can not be Indian now. We must not copy evilness therefore don't agree that our children grow with those thoughts.
* Let’s build Afghanistan our country with real victory which is our need for our coming generation. Let’s broadcast programs that are useful for our uneducated afghan parents or woman.
* I believe everyone is responsible for eye' where to look and what to learn but I don't believe on our uneducated afghan woman can learn something useful from so Called dramas (Indian).
* I believe in friendship with Indians and or everyone but I don't trust the anything that or anyone taking our Afghans away from Allah.... i.e. Indian worship man made Buddha.
* in conclusion if TV channels really care about their community than there are millions of other helpful TV serials to broadcast.
thanks for giving us the opportunity to copy from our heart and paste on this wonderful website. God Bless.
Hi, I'm from India and I'm a Hindu. I dont watch soap operas as I feel they are full of drama and lack the sense of reality. But at the end, I cant stop others from watching it.
Recently, a legislation was to be passed to censor all these serials in India as it demeans the status of "Indian women" in the society but later it failed.
In Afghanistan, the context is completely different. Here, leaders fear that their citizens might become corrupt. One reader feels that most of citizens of India are immoral.
To all leaders and the reader who passed acrimonious remarks against India.
First, India is not a homogeneous country. We cannot tolerate a homogeneous society as homogeneity lead to boredom and less creativity. The more heterogeneous your society is, the more creativity your citizen will be.
Second, "Iman" or character is something inner and it cannot be damaged unless you are ready to sacrifice it. If a principle is challenged by a "stupid" soap opera, either the principle is weak or the person who is following it.
Third, Indian soap operas are popular in Iran and Saudi Arabia as well. In Iran & SA, ppl purchase DVDs of indian soap operas. Yuo cannot stop people if they "really" want to watch and enjoy it.
Atlast, any curb on India leads to "totalitarian" regime no matter how stupid and ignorant, the media is. Later, clerics may ask to ban "Nowruz" as it is not a truly islamic festival!
Grow up!

Salam, With all respect to those who articulated their points of view, but it is clear as a day that these TV programmes do have a negative effect on our society and cultural values. Look at what our nation learn from these TV programmes? Do you really need me to point out to you the number of kidnappings and lootings that is going on in Kabul right now? Where do you think people have learned that from? For those of you who are educated, you can come to the conclusion that it is those pointless, so-called ‘entertainment’ that you import from India that guides our nation through to filth and darkness.
The reporter poses the question that has India and its 250M Muslims been corrupted? Well, yes as a matter of fact it has. Indians who remain true Muslims they, too, are struggling to fight the likes of you. Why can’t we learn from other Islamic countries? Why our media and woman don’t look at Iran and Saudi Arabia as a role model? Or are we Afghans still asleep, and think that we are in a race with the west, and perhaps some of us even think that we can beat the west in their own game.
No. You need to remember who you are. And you do need someone else to take your remote-control.
Could we please have the names of speakers on screen, instead of the Tolo’s web address? thnx
