This week's 6.30 Report, which was broadcast on Tolo TV on Monday 21 January 2008 at 9.30pm, centres on the issue of security in Afghanistan and Kabul in particular.
The Report takes a careful look at the recent Kabul Serena attacks and investigates if there was any informationn about the attacks before the incident, the reasons behind the attack, how the attacks were perpetrated and who was responsible for the attacks.
The host for the program is Masood Qiam and interviewees include Jamil Jumbesh (former Kabul Security commander), Mohammad Anwar Jigdalek (President of the National Olympic Committee of Afghanistan), Zmaray Bashari (Spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior), Najib Kabuli (Parliamentarian), Sayed Mohammad Golabzoy (Parliamentarian), Saeed Ansari (Spokesperson for the NDS) and Mr Hadi Khaled (Ministry of Interior).
Various issues are explored including security in Afghanistan generally and specifically in Kabul including interviews with those who were witnesses or caught up in the Serena incident.
