TOLO TV now available in Europe and North America PDF Print E-mail

tolo_international_small.jpgThe long wait is finally over! TOLO TV has commenced its test broadcast in Europe and North America.

To watch TOLO TV you do not need to subscribe, it is available free of charge provided you have a satellite receiver and a decoder. Just give your local satellite installer our satellite details and they know the rest. Click here for our satellite information.

NOTE: Please note that the channel in both North America and Europe has two sound streams. One is English, which is the sound for TOLO TV and the other is German which is the sound of ARMAN FM (so yes, you can actually listen to ARMAN FM through your satellite). So please ensure that you set the language to English if you have sound problems, as in some satellite decoders, the sound will default to German. 

We would also like to invite you all to make comments on this thread below about your experiences and comments. We are currently testing our signal and would appreciate any comments on technical issues such as quality of video and sound and sync issues. 

We will be launching our official schedule on and from Saturday 7 June 2008 and would appreciate all comments about our various programs. You are also welcome to comment on each progarm in the relevant program section of our website.

Let me first heartly thank Tolo staff for broadcasting Tolo news in Europe. Now I can watch Tolo news in Holland,but the signal is weak ,may you think about it.
Althougt I know this is the second channel of Tolo.We hoping to be able to watch the first channel also in Europe.

Firstly, again thanks to all of those who have posted comments on this page. We read all comments, even if we cannot respond to every query (and most have already been answered previously).

We are looking at a number of options for uplinking including Eurobird where capacity is available and also W1.

We appreciate all of your comments but the process of changing our uplink is not so simple, and it requires at least a few months. So please be patient with us. We will continue to read all the comments and welcome suggestions on satellites.

We hope to update you within 4 weeks on a final decision and how we will be uplinking in Europe in the future, with a more definite time line.

Tolo TV network is a cheap network, Tolo can never be like other afghan tv's ARIANA , RTA or PAYA ME AFGHAN. its al two yar that tolo have promesed that they will be international but they still cheap.

I am very glad that I am online member of TOLO tv.I love your programs.They are really good and have very very benifeciary for people.Specailly Donia Asrar and Bod Panjum are the most nice and benifit.I have a small suggestion,if it is possible please increase the number of Heach land issues from one day to three days.It is really a good and lesson learned drama for Wakils and ministers and it memics the bad functions of our parliman and Cabina.

You guyz alaways talking about the currption ( Fesad edare) in afghanistan but today u peaple have done currption ifront of 30 million peaple. I am talking about "Afghan star program" today friday 4/Dec/09. The judges in this program select who dont know a peace of music but he was Ramesh Gar's student in Guitar classes. Now he come to Afghan star He Was selected in top 12 and he dont know even a note of singing not voice of singer but just he was student of ramesh gar so when u guyzz commit curption so why ur saying to other that ur doing currption frist see ur self talk on others realy sham on ur guyz

One small i dont know what u can call for that suggestion or complian from Tolo Tv and the anchors or the host of programs. Every time when there is a guest in music program you peaple call him "Ustad" why do you peaple know the meaning of "Ustad" Peaple work day and night for 10 or 20 years to Get the postion of "Ustad" By a Well known department not by a host or a anchor like Farzana or Popal calling "Hafiz Vasal " and "Salam Javed" who singing in wedding party from last 3 years and now you peaple calling him "Ustad" and other singers like them. They are our singers we love them but please dont put peaple in darkness by calling them Ustad. Ustad was "Ustad Awal mer", "Ustad Sarahang" "Ustad Nashenas" "Ustad Mahwash" and now your calling them Ustad. Ustad is a very very very value able degree. Dont spoil that.

We really apologize for any inconvenience, we are hardly trying to solve the current problem that we have got with the Express AM 22 Satelite our viewers in Asia are still able to watch our transmition from the above satelite but not in Europe and North America! Tolo Tv is going to be back soon probably the begining of new year in January. We are going to be available in Europe from new satelite Hotbird or Eurobird but for North America is the same satelite Galaxy 19.

the owner of Moby Group (Farsi 1, Barbud, Kaboora, Tolo TV, Arman FM, Quqnoos etc.) the Mohseni family are afghans. But why is it that Farsi 1, which is broadcasting in IRANIAN-farsi is available on Hotbird and OUR afghan-tv channel TOLO is not? I cant understand that. Maybe you can give us some informations.

سلام خدمت کارکنان تلویزیون طلوع! طوری که می دانید تلویزیون طلوع دیگر مهمان خانه های افغانهای مهاجر در اروپا نیست. دوستان زیادی اینجا پیام گذاشته اند و شما مسئولین محترم حتی برای پنج دقیقه هم بخود زحمت نمی دهید تا از همین طریق موضوع را به اطلاع همه بره سانید. آیا این یک مشکل تخنیکی موقت است؟ آیا تلویزیون طلوع به کدام آدرس دیگر می کوچد؟ و یا این که برای همیش نشراتش را در اروپا قطع نموده؟ امیدوارم مسئولین محترم بخود زحمت بدهند و موضوع را به اطلاع همه گان بره سانند.

با تاسف تلویزیون طلوع به عنوان بهترین رسانه تصویری که از داخل افغانستان نشرات داشت موفق نشد به کارش در امریکا و اروپا ادامه دهد همانطور که ما و شما شاهد بودیم طلوع نتوانست اعلانات بازرگانی برای بخش جهانی خود بدست آورد و از این رو فکر می کنم دچار مشکل بودجه شد. ای کاش این طور نمی شد تلویزیون خوبی بود

First of all I wanted to let you know my family and I love the Tolo channel. So thank you to all the staff and people who provide this great channel for us. One request I did have is that my family and I love the Dunya Asrar show. We learn so many things from that show and it's better to watch that then some uneducated show. The only concern that I have is that the show only plays certain parts at a time. It get so confusing and at times I miss the other half of the show. My family and I were wondering if Tolo cna please change that by playing the whole show instead of clips. Please! Thank you for your time and convenience!

This year's Afghan star will not become a star due to having a good voice, special talant. He should have been out long time ago. I have no Idae what happend and how this could have been the result. It is shocking. There were many good singers who did deserve the title. He knows he dosen't deserve it.

secondly, Could you please do an effort to bring back Naweed Sabirpour to Afghan star? It's never too late to do a good thing. If Mehran can come back, then Naweed have the 110% right to come back. As you and all AFGS know that he has all the talents & qualities to be NUMBER ONE AFGHAN STAR for the following reasons:

1- He is a SHINING STAR with a very GOOD PERSONALITY, CHARACTER, POLITE & GENTLE.(Like we all Afghan people appreciate first Tarbia than Thalim. These are the most important factors that we need for a NUMBER ONE STAR LIKE N.S.P.)

2- He has The Most beautiful and touching voice. (God's precious gift)

3- He had chosen the most difficult and tough songs all the time. (Shows his devotion, commitment, hard work & responsibility towards people and specially his fans)

4- He had chosen very touching and meaningful Lyrics. (Shows his very highly taste of poems)

5- Very touching & DILNISHIN composes (Shows his very highly understanding of Music)

6- He has gotten always the complete Marks and the best complements from all judges. (The solid proof that HE IS NUMBER ONE AND WILL BE INSHAHALLAH.)

7- A very young talent that SHOULD NOT be discouraged or ignored. (Unfortunately TOLO TV DID IT and for sure it is not the SHAHISTA SALAARI that Afghan Star was talking about.)

I am sure that something fishy has happened, as far as it concerns about votes, i am sure that he has lots of fans that have always voted for him, but please guys(Conscience is the only court that needs no judges.)

(i have learned that if you are headed in wrong direction, God will allow you U-turn but if you are headed in right directions, each step no matter how small, is getting you closer to your goals.)

So please guys, i kindly request you that even if it's for once in you life, do the right things and fight for the right things, even if you are not rewarded back by human being but you will be rewarded by God.

I have a question concerning Naveed Sabirpoor...wy was he placed 3rd place in "Sitara Afghan". He is a very good singer...he should have been first place. We are very upset because do not know how to judge and choose the singers. Can anyone please give me Naveed Sabirpoors number?...I want to discuss his singing because we are very sad that he left the show. From all the other 12 contestants he was the best, he should have gotten first place. If it is possible to bring him back, please try. Naveed Forough does not know how sing i do not know how people enjoy his vocal skills, I think he payed for people's votes.

the way they run Afghan star is not fair. they brought back a singer who people already voted off the show MEHRAN, they gave him a fair chance but when it came to HABIB POPAL they voted him off the show....why was he not allowed to come back like the other guy. with due respect, I really dont like zange-e-khatar, because it is a kind of bull shit program.
one thing which must be cleared is that Mr.Fakhri was a bad man in Mujahidin time and he was a robber now, he speaks up on others sham on him.
Hanif hangam is a gambler and why does not he stop that work and always he comments on others.

This program is full laugh and they laugh by themselves no body laughs because they make this program for their selves that is it.

yesterday night on 22/12/08/ i saw a programe from lemar . the progname name is like ( yadona aw awazona ) i think so .that jantle man didnt understand about music . that guy give us information about old indian music . he is wrong .becuase in the film dushman that release at 1971 music was by laxmikant peyarelal and the singer is not mohammad rafi . the song title is ( vaada tera vaada )the song play back is by kishor kumar.
so please its not a joking its a tv and all world see and listen your tv .

دوستان گرامی سلام! من در کشور دنمارک زندگی دارم. با دیش 120 سانتی متر موفق به دریافت طلوع گردیدم. مگر مشکل اینجاست که تقریبا همه روزه و در جالبترین جا آواز طلوع قطع می گردد. گرچه چندین بار از همین طریق موضوع را نوشتم، مگر نمیدانم چرا مسئولین توجه ندارند. آنقدر زحمت کشیده می شود. بهترین برنامه ها تهیه می گردد، مگر بی فایده و بدون آواز. البته دوستان اگر می خواهید طلوع را پیدا نمائید فقط فریکانس طلوع را بنویسید، نه از برنامه های روسی را. و دیش را دو درچه پائینتر از اندازه که در 13 درجه عیار بوده پائین بیاورید. خیلی آهسته بچرخانید. البته همراه با آله زیگنال یاب بهتر است. پس از هرباری که زگنال زیاد می شود، مدت دو دقیقه منتظر بمانید تا تصویر روی تلویزیون ظاهر شود. درغیر آن باز دیش را بچرخانید.

سلام! تلویزیون طلوع در اروپا وقعا که شاهکار می کنه. همه روزه درجای جالب و برنامه های جالب آوازش خراب میشه. امشب بازهم هنگام پخش ستاره افغان از هرات آواز گم شد. چرا تنها طلوع چنین است؟ خلی برنامه ها و تلویزیون های دیگر هم هستند. مگر هیچگاه چنین نبوده اند. گرچه چندین بار است می نویسم مگر بازهم توجه شمارا خواهانم. از چنین تلویزیونی نبودنش خیلی بهتره.

My name is Aughasheren and I live in Canada, city of London.
we enjoy watching your TV all the time but I would like to Report there is a problem with sound of your TV. for example, we can watch the Tolo TV with sound 4 days in a week but there is no sound for 3 days in a wek.
It is worth mentioning, nothing is wrong with picture. I hope you fix this issue because watching your TV without sound is really really boring and I am sure you want your viewer to be happy all time.

Tolo Tv staff what is wrong with you guys? either you have no proper program schedule or proper signal. it has been a few days that i can't even watch your repeated programs via internet? please go online and check out yourself once if you have high speed internet in AFG. your tv channel is like your radio station that disconnect few days a week. you need to concider this seriously folks. I want to see you , that I am now able to watch TOLO TV in central Europe country -In Slovak Republik , but for watching you need 130cm dish , LNB minim 0,2db., and good receiver for better processing the singnal,. Singnal lavel and Quality lavel in Slovak republic is now around 70-80 %. It is impossible to use another dish/ under 130 cm/, because i have another thish with 110Cm from Gibertini ,but is not possible to watch that tv.
have a good time and enjoy .

I loved all your programs specially the program , ( بوی جوی مولیان ) and I still remember all the interviews and the feeling that the program was giving to me. Lately i watched your transmission through glwiz.com cuz it is not on hotbird. I noticed you have broadcasting Indian soap operas (dramas) 2 years old in comparasion to what is broadcast in Afghanistan. Almost all your transmission is repeat of 2 years ago.

I have been watching Tolo via glwiz.com since last week and i was so excited about it. so untill yesterday that the sound of the programs are gone and all i can hear is Arman FM. WAIT WAIT WAIT... there is more problem first of there is no proper scheduel for its programs. it's gone 4 programs and repeatedly plays in 24 hrs period which makes me so bored. the other problems is the quality of the pictures it is so low quality,the other tv's got so high quality.

Tolo Management please have a proper scheduel for you programs and read all comments carefully. PPL love you and support you in that matter and don't make afghans disappointed.

Thank you very much for your fast response. i am living in virginia USA. unfortunatly since yesterday night we are not able watch TOLO! there is no sound and no video. it is just black screen. and today i searched again for tolo and it was the same problem. other channels are running. only tolo has this problem!
I have one more question. somedays you show one programm 2-4 times repeatly in one day like some of dramas or HOP! please dont show more than 2 times repeat. because it gets very boring to watch one programm 4 times repeatly in a day! In afghanistan people are really very happy about tolo because of your beautifull programms and good entertainment they are really enjoying watching TOLO, and I hope you can make us afghans in Europe or America happy too. so we always watch Tolo & enjoy your beautifull programms. I noticed that you are not showing movies! Are you going to broadcast new/popular Bollywood & Hollywood movies too or not? I hope you answer my questions.

I hope everyone doing well and having a lovely time thanks for broadcasting TOLO Tv on the satalite I am one of UK recedent living in the south west of the UK Unfortuenatly we are unable to get Tolo TV I have personaly tried a lot and I actually have a lot exprince instaling satalite in UK and Kabul as well the problem is we can not get signal in the normal dishes in fact we can get signal in 120cm dishes which not permited by the local authority and also I just was investigating about it and could find there is space in Hotbird because they have removed the Pars TV from it if you kindly go to www.iransat.tk you will find out more we all will appreciate your help regarding TOLO TV in hotbird many thanks in advance.

salaam to all afghans around europe, i can say ,from first day so Toloint.came in Europe i did fixed my dish, and watch the nice programms of tolotv.I dont have any problem with this satellite(Express22am)but I must say to Tolo admin,so we here in Holland watching everyday and enjoy of ur tv, thanks of ur nice programms.In addition of this , i know so everybody here in Europe can,t to take the signal becase this sattellit is for example(for, Hamburg-not all Germany just to nordside, Denmark , Sweden,and Norway)has a weak singnal,or maybe totaly not singnal because the sattellit is too down, and some trees and bulldings can make block the singnal.If possible turn to Eurobird9,in this case everyone can very easy take the singnal and watch thier nice TOLO tv.Dear Tolotv menagment now the plorasation is Horizental if you change to Vertical it is too higih and strong singnal like Russians tv(ctc, music, Belarus and some Arabic channeels.bey

باری به هر روی با توجه به نظر برخی دوستان نصاب دریافت هاتبرد و یوروبرد همزمان با هم آنچنان که در سایت یوتلست نوشته آسان نیست و این به علت نزدیکی بیش از اندازه ی این دو ماهواره است. در مورد دابلیو یک اوضاع خیلی بدتر است. اما دابلیو یک را میتوان به راحتی به همراه هاتبرد دریافت کرد.

Firstly, again thanks to all of those who have posted comments on this page. We read all comments, even if we cannot respond to every query (and most have already been answered previously).

We are looking at a number of options for uplinking including Eurobird where capacity is available and also W1.

We appreciate all of your comments but the process of changing our uplink is not so simple, and it requires at least a few months. So please be patient with us. We will continue to read all the comments and welcome suggestions on satellites.

We hope to update you within 4 weeks on a final decision and how we will be uplinking in Europe in the future, with a more definite time line.

عرض سلام و حرمت به همه دست اندرکاران تلویزیون موفق طلوع. من و به نظر من همه هموطنان ما که در خارج از میهن جبراٌ بسر میبریم از شنیدن خبر جهانی شدن تلویزیون طلوع نهایت خرسند گردیدیم، اما تا جاییکه دیده میشود هنوز کسی موفق به دیدن تلویزیون طلوع نگردیده است و دلیل آن پحش پروگرام های شما از طریق ستلایت اکسپزس 22 میباشد، چون این ستلایت دارای جرخش نهایت افقی بوده که از منازل که حتی در طبقات 4 و 5 هم قرار داشته باشند گرفتن آن نهایت مشکل است و از جهت دیگر این ستلایت یعنی اکسپرس 22 از ستلایت های دیگر مانند اویتل سات زاویه 13 درجه ،اویروبرد زاویه 28 و 9 درجه همچنان استرا زاویه 19 درجه خیلی فاصله دارد. فرض کنیم اگر جداٌ حواسته شود که باید پروگرام طلوع را از ستلایت اکسپرس 22 حتماٌ گرفت، شاید امکان داشته باشد! اما در آنصورت بایداز ستلایت های متذکره اجتناب ورزید که این امر غیر ممکن است چون ستلایت های فوقاٌ متذکر شده در پخش پروگرام های اساسی منطقوی در اروپا به زبان های مختلف رول نهایت تعین کننده را بازی میکنند که اجتناب از آنها غیر ممکن است، روی این منظور از مقامات محترم تلویزین طلوع احترمانه تقاظا میگردد تا اگر امکان داشته باشد ، پروگرام های خویش را از طریق ستلایت هاربرد 13 درجه ویا اینکه از طریق اویروبرد 9 درجه که گنجایش آن هم زیاد است، پخش نمایند ، سبب حوشی زیاد هموطنان شان میگردد

I didn't agreed with you that Hotbird capacity is ended but:

Eurobird 9 is good choice.I confirm signal strength in Tehran. I think signal level according to coverage map in Eutelsat website is high level in Europe.
if Tolo int use this satellite, afghan viewer can also have access to about 12~14 free Indian and south Asian channels.

Let me first heartly thank Tolo staff for considering about the comments of the viewers. In fact Tolo Staff gives a value to its viewers!! Thanks alot. I think Eurobird is much easier than express or other satelites. Please add the Tolo Tv to Eurobird and write your new frequency for us. But if POSSIBLE in future, change it to HOTBIRD ( if there will be capicity in Hortbird ). But at least now change it to Eurobird. Your exsisting frequency (SESAT 2 @53 Deg East
(or Express AM22)is not reachable and impossible for every Europian countries. I am living in Denmark, Hjørring city, no Afghan has been able to watch Tolo Tv yet although they tried their best. I am sure no Afghan at anywhere in Europe has been able to watch Tolo TV with existing frequency. Do something, otherwise it will be useless to broadcast your Tv in Europe. Firstly thank you for all those who have taken the time to comment on the website.

For all of those people who want us to be on HOTBIRD, we have already explained twice in our comments below. The reason we are not on HOTBIRD is because there is no capacity any more on HOTBIRD at all. Otherwise you will be seeing TOLO in HOTBIRD.

So please tell all of the people you know that HOTBIRD capacity is full and there is no more space available on HOTBIRD which is why TOLO is not on HOTBIRD.

However, we have been able to obtain capacity on EUROBIRD9, which means that all of the people who have a HOTBIRD dish can receive our signal without changing their antennas in Europe. They only have to get a new LNB but can use the same STB and dish. We would like to hear your comments about whether you would be able to receive EuroBird before we go ahead with this. According to Eutelsat (Which owns both Hotbird and EuroBird, EuroBird has better reach and stronger signal in Europe).

بنده تقریباً هر روز به سایت تان سر میزدم تا خوش خبری نشر برنامه های تانرا به روی ستلایت بخوانم، اما از این خبر بیشتر متأسر شدم تا خوشحال. بنده از کسور سویس برای تان مینویسم. اکثریت افغانها ستلایتهای شانرا به روی هاتبرد نصب نموده اند و بعضی ها (مانند بنده) ال.ان.بی دوگانه دارند که همزمان از هاتبیرد و آسترا میتوان استفاده کرد اما استفاده از سیسات کاملاً غیر عقلانی است و آنهم به چند دلیل: اندازه دیش باید بیشتر از یک متر و 20 سانتی باشد، که بسیاری ها حتی اجازه دیش کوچک را در اینجا ندارند. دوم اینکه اگر تمام افغانها آماده نصب و خریداری دیش جداگانه (و یا ال.ان.بی جدا) نیستند و دیش را هم به سمت دیگر حرکت نمیدهند، چون از سائر کانالهای فارسی زبان محروم می مانند.
شما اگر به روی هات بیرت نمی توانید بیایید، پس بهتر است نشرات تانرا در آسترا به نشر بسپارید، در غیر فکر نکنم که حتی 1 فیصد از افغانهای اروپا هم بتوانند نشرات شما را تماشا کنند.

All Afghan TVs broadcasting from Kabul and USA and none subscribe to any satellite, aiming Australia and South East Asia. حالا که همه دوستان به زبان مادری حرف میزنند من چرا حرف نزنم

دوستان عزیزی که در اروپا حتی با دیش بزرگ نتوانستند سیگنال تلویزیون طلوع را بگیرند امکان دارد این مشکل بخاطر سیمبل ریت کم تلویزیون جهانی طلوع باشد که رسیورشان همانطور که دوست گرامی مارتین گفتند قادر به دریافت این سیگنال نیست. پس بهتر است که اگر شما این ماهواره را به کمک فرکانس شبکه های روسی آن گرفتید.و موفق به دریافت شبکه طلوع نشدید یک بار این کار را با یک رسیور جدید تر نیز امتحان کنید.

از خبر این که طلوع در کشور های اورپایی اخذ شده می تواند خوشنود شدیم . اما هر چند کوشش کردیم موفق نشدیم . ستلایتی که شما گفته اید در این کشور ها به آسانی اخذ شده نمی تواند . بهتر است در هات بیرد یا آسترای یک یا آسترای دو طلاع نشر شود اخذ 53 درجه مشکل است و یاشاید هم ناممکن من در هالند هستم . این درجه از بس راه گرفننش کج است که در اکثر محلات با موانع روبرو می شود . اگر راهنمایی می کنید خوش می شویم . اما اگر در هات بیرد بیایید که مشکل همه آسان می شود تشکر از شما شاد و سلامت باشید راستی باید بگویم که دیش بزرگ هم گرفتیم نشد خدا حافظ

Greetings from southern England. There are two problems with your new satellite downlink to Europe. Firstly, the 53° east satellite is very low on the UK horizon so it is likely that buildings and trees will block the signal. The other problem is the very low symbol rate you are using. 90 percent of digital satellite receivers will not pick up transmissions with a symbol rate of less than 2000. If you increase your SR to above 2000, many many more people in Europe will be able to watch.

Actually our signal will be very weak in Iran (as we are already covering Iran with our other beam for SESAT 2, the fixed beam over Central Asia), and so it is best for this market to watch our local channels. I am actually surprised that you can receive this channel in Iran.

but in eutelsat website they didn't add this last beam because transponder in this beam are belong to RSCC under the name EXPRESS AM22.

maybe problem is not in europe. in Mideast signal is too week. but with this week signal we can watch 'Al Libiyah TV' witch uses Europe beam like tolo Int.

I have told that 'Wide Europe' is stronger .but receiving another afghan channel in this satellite(noor tv from usa) which uses this beam is too dificault .problem is in low symbol rate (1466). i think it is also your signal problem.

The only problem is the sound of the Radio and TV. I have changed the language to English, yet still couldn't recieve the TV sound. Hope it would be solved as soon as possible. Good job Tolo team, keep it up!! smilies/cool.gif

I take it that if you watched the broadcasts then you had no problems tuning in to our satellite and that you are located in the US. Also i assume you had no issues in choosing ARMAN FM sound or TOLO TV sound, as some people have been confused by this.

Was quality of video/sound good?

Its wonderful to see Tolo TV on the Satellite now, I have watched your test runs over the weekend and was very excited, I am hoping to see all the programs very soon.
I have heard allots of good things regarding all your shows and have watched some of them on YOUTUBE, its wonderful, Informative, funny and great news.
Radio Arman is also wonderful and I have been listing to it on the internet.
Once again, I am very excited and looking forward to see all your shows.

European coverage

Actually Matin, our coverage is on Eutesat SESAT 2, fixed beam. See this link.

This fixed beam has a much stronger signal over Europe than the other two beams (one is only Central Asia and the other has a weak signal over Europe). Peak for our satellite is 51dbw and the other stearable beam is only 48 max and that is over Africa. For mainland Europe such as Germany the other beam is only about 42db, or almost 10 db weaker than our signal.

Maybe you are talking about SESAT1, but even that has only max of 48dbw but only over UK, and much lower in mainland Europe.

I suppose it all depends on where you are. For most Afghans who are in Germany, Holland, Sweden, UK, this beam we are on will give best results.

Still we would be interested in hearing from people who have been able to receive our signal successfully and let us know of quality of signal.

thanks a lot for you response. as you know sesat 2 has many coverage and every coverage have its own power. for Europe this satellite has 2 beams , Europe & Wide Europe , Russian channel like CTC are using Wide Europe and it is stronger than Europe beam. if you can be able to use this coverage your signal will be easy to receive.

I love tolo tv and have heard alot about it. But unfortunately
I dont live anywhere where its being broadcasted.Would it be possible in
near future to broadcast tolo tv in Autralia if so it would be greatly
appreciated. Also if any web live stream of tolo tv would also be great.

European Broadcasts - SESAT 2

Thank you for your comment. We are looking at launching on HOTBIRD in the future, but at the moment we can only make this available through SESAT2. This signal is not as readily available as HOTBIRD but you can definitely get this signal as we have people in Europe watching us on this satellite.

One thing may be to talk to installers who will know how to connect the satellite, especially Russian satellite channels many of which are on this satellite.

Please let us know how you go.

If anyone else has been able to connect from Europe or North America, please post comments on this trail so we know.

Audio Settings for TOLO TV International

Please note that the channel in both North America and Europe has two sound streams. One is English, which is the sound for TOLO TV and the other is German which is the sound of ARMAN FM (so yes, you can actually listen to ARMAN FM through your satellite). So please ensure that you set the language to English if you have sound problems, as in some satellite decoders, the sound will default to German.

For many decoders the sound track is on a separate button so it may take some fiddling to work this out. We are trying to make English as default language, but in the meantime, please see if you can manually change the language to English.

Please let us know if you have succeeded with updating the audio.

I am Hariva from http://resaneh.blogspot.com. it is very difficult to receive Tolo Int signal in SESAT 2 .I think problem is in low symbolrate. our weblog visitor ask that why don't you use hotbird satellite.

Congratulation to all Tolo team for launching here at USA. It's really a Good News for all Afghans. Once again congratulation and wishing you all more success in the near future. About Tolo audio, I think the Audio from Radio FM Station is mixed with TV. Hope this is only a test. Please update this technical issue at your website.
